Welcome to Ruby’s Place…
A beautiful wee corner of Coatbridge working mens club.
Ruby’s decided – we’ve decided – to put on this play!
Ruby says – we say – that workers rights aren’t being talked about enough at the moment, so we’re talking about them.

The Resistible Rise of Arturo Ui is a 1941 play that chronicles the rise of Arturo Ui, a fictional 1930s Chicago mobster and his attempts to control the cauliflower racket by ruthlessly disposing of the opposition. The play is a satirical allegory of the rise of Adolf Hitler and the Nazi Party in Germany prior to World War II.
